TERMS & CONDITIONS
These are the Terms and Conditions of the Contract which Oxford/Mississippi Delta Taxi & Transportation Inc. agrees to furnish the designated service to the chartering party. If terms are binding regardless of whether you read and understand them. If you do not understand anything contained herein, call Oxford/Mississippi Delta Taxi & Transportation Inc. for explanation of clarification prior to your trip.
PAYMENT POLICY: There will be a minimum of a $100.00 deposit required due 10 days of receiving the contract in order to confirm service. Confirmation will be based upon availability of the booking date that the deposit is received. Full payment for services must be received (15) fifteen days prior to scheduled departure of the trip.
EQUIPMENT: Charges named herein are based on vehicles being furnished of sufficient seating capacity to accommodate the chartering party. The carrier serves the right, when operating conditions so require, to furnish vehicles of greater capacity, different classification, and/or subcontracting to another motor carrier.
LIABILITY OF DELAYS: The carrier will not be liable for delays caused by accidents, breakdowns, bad road conditions, inclement weather, and other conditions that make it inadvisable to operate charter service from point of origin or any point en route. The carrier will not be liable therefore or be caused to be held liable for any reason whatsoever. Additional costs, such as meals, lodging, and transportation, will in the respect of the responsibility of the chartering party.
OBJECTIONABLE PERSON(S): The carrier reserves the right to refuse to transport a person or persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs such that make him or her objectionable to other passengers or the safer operation of the vehicle.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: When by request of the chartering party, there is a change in the service that was stated on the original signed contract that results in additional miles or hours, there will be additional charges applied to the cost of the trip. If you are a billing customer, the additional charges will be added to your bill. If you are a cash customer, the additional charges must be paid before completion of job. We will add a $75.00 fee to your balance when a payment check or similar instrument is not honored.
UNUSUAL CLEANING OR DAMAGE: When the cleaning of the vehicle is such that a greater than normal amount of time and material will be necessary to properly clean the vehicle or repair damages, a minimum charge of will be the sole responsibility of the chartering party to pay.
TRANSFERS: There is a 15-minute grace period for transfers, after that point a three-hour minimum will take effect.
